Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a CNC Miller (Setter / Operator) in Bristol to join a longstanding manufacturer. The role offers a stable days-based schedule with optional 1.5x overtime and a 12:30 finish on Fridays.

You will set up and run 5-axis milling machines (Haas or Matsuura) using FANUC controls on a 7:30am–4:30pm schedule, with Fridays finishing at 12:30pm. This position provides progression and regular pay reviews in a high-precision environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in setting up and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Experience with Haas or Matsuura machines using FANUC controls.
• Commutable to Bristol and available for Mon-Fri days shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines to produce parts.
• Create parts for Aerospace and Defence industries.
• Work Monday to Friday with 12:30 finishes on Fridays.
