Job summary

Railpen is recruiting a Trader for the Multi-Asset Execution & Data Analysis desk in London. Hybrid working arrangement and a permanent position. The role focuses on executing trades across equities, ETFs, fixed income, derivatives and FX, while applying data analytics and technology to improve outcomes for clients.

The successful candidate will have programming experience and strong analytical skills. You will collaborate with investment and non-investment teams and contribute to project

Qualifications

• 3–7 years’ trading experience on a buy-side or sell-side desk.
• Experience trading equities using algorithms.
• Programming in Python/SQL/VBA and analysing large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Execute all trades to achieve best execution.
• Use TCA, data analytics and market structure knowledge to improve outcomes.
• Develop and deploy algorithmic strategies to reduce trading costs.
• Prepare and present internal trade data, analytics and reports.
• Maintain relationships to improve liquidity access and execution quality.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance client outcomes.
