Job summary

CGI in Belfast is seeking a skilled MuleSoft Developer to design, develop and support enterprise-grade integrations between Salesforce and critical business systems. You’ll work with architects, engineers and business stakeholders to translate designs into scalable services, ensuring security, performance and reliability.

In this hybrid role, you’ll own delivery of MuleSoft APIs, data transformations and integration flows, contribute to testing and documentation, and apply best practices across

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience developing with MuleSoft 4 and DataWeave.
• Strong experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Studio, API Manager, Exchange).
• Experience deploying MuleSoft apps to CloudHub 2.0 or equivalent runtime.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver MuleSoft APIs, connectors and integration flows.
• Build DataWeave transformations for XML and JSON data.
• Collaborate with architects, Salesforce developers, business analysts and partners.
• Troubleshoot, test and enhance integrations for performance and reliability.
• Apply security best practices including OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS and API gateways.
• Design robust error handling, retries and message correlation.
• Develop automated tests using MUnit and support regression testing.
• Produce technical documentation and conduct code reviews.
• Support build, deployment and defect resolution across environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement with MuleSoft and Salesforce best practices.
