Job summary

Emplyfy in the United Kingdom is seeking an MSP Field Engineer to support clients across industries, combining customer-facing support with hands-on infrastructure maintenance and project work. You will attend customer sites and manage incidents, while documenting technical notes.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in IT, with Microsoft 365 expertise and Cyber Essentials/GDPR security experience, plus strong networking knowledge and Windows/Mac proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience within a relevant IT role.
• Experience with Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards, including implementation (mandatory).
• Microsoft 365 expertise covering Email, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive (mandatory).
• Familiarity with Intune, RMM platforms and telephone systems.
• Strong networking knowledge covering routers, switches, APs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls and VLANs.
• Knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11 and Mac.

What we offer:

• Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
• 40 days' annual paid leave.
• Minimum 5 years' experience within a relevant IT role.
• Experience with Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards, including implementation (mandatory).
• Microsoft 365 expertise covering Email, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive (mandatory).
• Familiarity with Intune, RMM platforms and telephone systems.
• Strong networking knowledge covering routers, switches, APs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls and VLANs.
• Ability to work effectively with external IT and service providers.
• Good knowledge of recognised IT practices and procedures.
• Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022, including Group Policy and security configuration.
• Experience administering and implementing Azure solutions.
• Knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11 and Mac.
• Experience preparing and deploying different client builds/images.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-focused approach.
• Good independent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
