Job summary

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is seeking a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join the Outpatient MSK Team. You will rotate through MSK rotations across sites, including Hydrotherapy, Fracture Clinic, Pelvic Health, Paediatrics, GP Practices, A&E, and back rehabilitation.

The post involves weekend rota commitments and ongoing supervision of junior staff, with funded in-service training and development opportunities within a large London acute trusts environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy mandatory.
• HCPC registration required.
• Undertaken a range of relevant postgraduate courses.
• Wide rotational physiotherapy experience at Band 5 level.
• Experience in audit and evidence-based projects.
• Broad NHS acute trust experience as a qualified physiotherapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management.
• Participate in the Band 6 MSK rotation scheme (out-patient areas).
• Rotations are ~8 months; contribute to various MSK services.
• Support weekend orthopaedics and rehabilitation rotas.
• Collaborate with GP outreach clinics and supervise staff/students.
