Job summary

Practice Plus Group is seeking an experienced Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist to join the HiJ MSK team at HMP Millsike, Full Sutton, Yorkshire. The role is part-time (24 hours per month) with no on-call or weekend work, offering a strong work-life balance.

Salary is between £40,000 - £49,000 pro rota depending on experience. You will be supported by Regional and Clinical Leads and receive in-service training and external course funding to support professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in assessing and treating complex and/or chronic presentations.
• Advanced MSK diagnostic and treatment skills.
• Ability to work within the MDT and maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• CSP member – desirable.
• NHS experience and knowledge of national pathways – desirable.
• Knowledge of Systm1 – desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding evidence-based MSK care, listening to patient feedback and personalising care.
• Deliver non-judgemental care and maintain professional boundaries.
• Inspire excellence by guiding the team in MSK management and red flag recognition.
• Promote best practice and continuous quality improvement.
• Share knowledge to support safe care across colleagues.
• Be responsible for your own caseload and waiting list as an autonomous practitioner.
