Job summary

Allerton Bishop is partnering with a leading European pharmaceutical company to appoint an MSAT Director based in Northern England. The role is hybrid with an office in Northern England and quarterly travel to global locations, leading technology transfer and new product introductions across Europe.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a scientific discipline.
• Work experience in pharmaceutical, aseptic / sterile manufacturing.
• Technical experience of MSAT, CMC, Process Development for small molecule products in oral solid or sterile liquid dosage form.
• Detailed understanding of CMC requirements and regulatory dossier submissions.
• The right to work in the UK is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight for external manufacturing activities.
• Oversee technology transfers and lifecycle management for small molecule products.
• Ensure GMP regulatory compliance and quality standards.
• Lead and manage a team of MSAT specialists based across Europe.
• Work with External Supply and Quality Assurance to deliver global projects and product launches.
