A leading biotechnology organization in London is seeking an MSAT Associate Scientist to support laboratory operations, conduct experiments, and ensure smooth workflows. Candidates should have a science background and an interest in gene therapy. Full training will be provided. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth in medical science.

Qualifications

  • Background in science (GCSE, A-Level, or equivalent) required.
  • Interest in gene therapy, robotics, or medical science is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail needed.

Responsibilities

  • Keep lab equipment clean, calibrated, and well-stocked.
  • Prepare solutions and reagents for experiments.
  • Perform scientific tests such as qPCR, dPCR, ELISA, HPLC, and cell culture.
  • Record and report data accurately using electronic lab notebooks and Excel.
  • Work with senior scientists to plan and document experiments.
  • Suggest ways to improve lab efficiency and processes.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized lab environment.
