Job summary

EPUT is recruiting for a Senior MS/PD Specialist to develop, implement and evaluate a seamless community MS/PD service. You will lead clinical care, drive audits and support health professionals with expert advice.

The post focuses on integrating with Primary Care Networks and Neighbourhood Health Hubs to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions and to optimise community care delivery.

Qualifications

• Post registration training in Multiple Sclerosis or Parkinson's Disease.
• Willingness to undertake Non-medical Prescriber training if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate a seamless MS/PD community service across localities.
• Assess, plan and implement treatment across the MS/PD spectrum.
• Maintain an active MS/PD caseload and manage referrals and waiting lists.
• Collaborate with Primary Care Networks and Neighbourhood Health Hubs.
• Deliver education and self-management for patients and families.
