Job summary

Eriez in the United Kingdom is seeking a Material Planner to ensure materials and subcontract services are available to support the manufacturing plan and customer deliveries.

You will use Sage 200 and Sicon MRP to translate demand into supply actions, maintain BOMs, routings and works orders, and collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, Stores, Quality, Sales and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience in material planning, production planning, purchasing or supply-chain coordination in manufacturing.
• Hands-on use of ERP/MRP systems to plan materials and manage purchase and works-order requirements.
• Knowledge of BOMs, routings, works orders and subcontract requirements.
• Understanding external routing operations generate subcontract demand and linked purchase orders.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high accuracy.
• Advanced Excel skills and supplier communication.

Responsibilities

• MRP, manufacturing data and works orders management within Sage 200 and Sicon MRP.
• Purchasing, inventory and supplier management, including purchase orders and shortages.
