MRP Controller — Supplier Delivery Lead (Hybrid)

Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment seeks a MRPC (Material Requirements Planning Controller) for a Warwick-based, hybrid contract. You will coordinate with suppliers and production to ensure component availability aligns with the master schedule and customer commitments.

Responsibilities include building delivery plans, monitoring supplier performance, maintaining SAP master data, and driving shortage-recovery actions. Hybrid work: 3 days on site / 2 days remote, 37.5 hours weekly. ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years' experience in material requirements planning, supplier planning or production control within aerospace, automotive, precision engineering or manufacturing.
• Proven hands-on experience actively managing suppliers, including improving supplier performance and influencing delivery outcomes.
• Direct, practical SAP experience is essential, including work with master planning data and exception messages. Experience with comparable ERP systems is also relevant.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability to interpret planning, inventory, capacity and shortage data.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and track delivery schedules for component orders in line with customer commitments and master production targets.
• Act as the primary operational contact for suppliers, building effective working relationships and actively managing delivery performance.
• Lead regular supplier business reviews, assess capacity constraints and negotiate practical production and delivery schedules.
• Maintain master planning data and exception messages in SAP, ensuring stock levels remain aligned with agreed targets.
• Troubleshoot delivery bottlenecks and coordinate shortage-recovery programmes across suppliers, purchasing and production stakeholders.
• Communicate delivery status, risks, constraints and recovery actions to the relevant purchasing manager and wider stakeholders.
