Qualifications

• Experience in a cost consultancy undertaking a similar role.
• Experience with Education sector clients.
• Capable of capital planning, forecasting and strategic procurement.
• Strong understanding of industry best practice.
• Experience managing people and risk.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and benchmarking.
• Apply value management techniques at project outset.
• Manage cost planning, budgeting, forecasting and final cost plan.
• Oversee procurement process from pre-qualification to contract preparation.
• Ensure post-contract cost variances and change control are managed.
• Produce monthly post-contract cost reports for the client.
• Negotiate final accounts.
• Interface with client and other consultants at all project stages.
• Support marketing and business development within the region.
• Understand standard form of industry contracts.
• Assist in developing new business opportunities with clients.
