Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist II to perform routine and specialized MRI imaging, ensure patient safety, and maintain high-quality imaging care. You will perform scans, support procedures under MRI guidance, ensure safety, manage supplies, document procedures, and participate in quality improvement, all while upholding professional and ethical standards.

Qualificações

• Associate's degree or accredited MRI/Radiologic Technology certificate.
• 3-4 years of MRI experience with the ability to independently perform protocols.
• ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI) certification required; BLS certification needed upon hire.
• Strong knowledge of MRI principles, anatomy, and patient care; ability to work effectively under stress.

Responsabilidades

• Perform MRI scans across diverse patient populations, selecting appropriate technical factors and administering contrast as needed.
• Support invasive procedures under MRI guidance and participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure a safe MRI environment by adhering to safety protocols, screening patients, and restricting access to authorized personnel.
• Manage departmental supplies, maintain equipment quality control, and document procedures accurately.
• Transport and prepare patients, communicate effectively, and provide patient education to promote comfort and understanding.
• Conduct quality assurance activities, troubleshoot equipment issues, and elevate concerns appropriately.
• Document patient care activities and ensure timely processing of images for interpretation.
• Maintain professionalism, adhere to ethical standards, and comply with regulatory guidelines.
