Job summary

Bronson Healthcare is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment for diagnostic purposes in a hospital setting. The role requires independent judgment, patient-focused care, and participation in department development and QA activities.

Qualified candidates hold an Associates degree in Radiological Technology, registry eligibility or ARMRIT/RT(MR) certification, and BLS within six months. 36 hours weekly, full-time, with potential for onsite professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
• Must demonstrate excellent human relation skills to deal with patients, physicians and others in sensitive situations.
• Must have customer service orientation.
• Must demonstrate leadership and organization skills including the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment for diagnostic purposes.
• Provides MRI services according to policy and procedure for all body parts.
• Maintains equipment and reports problems to supervisor.
• Participates in training of student technologists and new staff.
• Ensures safety and sterile technique; delivers quality MRI procedures for radiologist interpretation.
