Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Superintendent Radiographer (Diagnostic) to lead radiography services and drive education across Chelsea, Sutton and Cavendish Square. The role combines clinical leadership with strategic oversight of CPD, workforce development and quality improvement.

You will supervise x‑ray, fluoroscopy, mobile/theatre and dental imaging, and act as Radiation Protection Supervisor, ensuring safety, governance and high standards of patient care

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a radiographer.
• DCR/BSc in Radiography or equivalent.
• Master’s level qualification or equivalent advanced specialist expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for all x‑ray, fluoroscopy and dental imaging across Trust sites.
• Lead imaging education, workforce development and supervision.
• Oversee compliance with QSI, CQC and HSE inspections.
