Job summary

Spire Murrayfield Hospital Wirral is expanding its imaging services and is seeking an experienced Specialist Radiographer to join our private hospital team. The role focuses on MRI across MSK, enterography and prostate imaging, with on-call duties and a commitment to safe, high-quality radiography practice.

This part-time (30 hours) position offers a supportive environment with modern imaging equipment and a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Radiography and HCPC registration required.
• Minimum 2 years MRI experience.
• Cardiac MRI experience desirable but not essential.
• Private healthcare experience desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex MRI examinations including MSK, enterography and multiparametric prostate imaging.
• Ensure MRI safety.
• Perform a comprehensive range of radiographic procedures, including Fluoroscopy, within the department and externally (e.g. theatre, wards).
• Develop and implement project data collection systems to provide accurate and timely data.
• Participate in rostered departmental on call for x-ray, performed from home.
• Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient.
• Ensure that Spire radiology procedures are implemented and maintained.
