Job summary

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated Radiographer with NHS MRI experience to join the MRI Management team. The post is cross-site across Royal Hallamshire, Weston Park and Northern General hospitals; operates 7 days a week with shifts 7:20 to 20:30, and involves managing a large MRI service with multiple Siemens and Philips scanners.

Qualifications

• RIG has DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography and HCPC registration.
• Post-qualification training, education or equivalent experience.
• CPD portfolio or relevant evidence.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Take responsibility for team development and leadership.

Responsibilities

• First line management for Radiographers and imaging assistants within MRI.
• Plan staffing, workflow and resources to maintain service levels.
• Undertake appraisals and monitor mandatory training attendance and sickness reviews.
• Maintain high standards of patient care while managing competing demands.
