The role covers cross-site work across Royal Hallamshire, Weston Park and Northern General sites, overseeing an 8-scanner MRI service with diverse specialisms.

The post provides strong leadership responsibilities, requires effective time‑management and a flexible approach to working; salary reflects NHS AfC Band 7, with shifts across 7 days.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is essential.
• DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography is required.
• Evidence of relevant post-graduate training, education or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Radiography team within MRI, overseeing staffing and workflow.
• Undertake appraisals for senior Radiographers and monitor mandatory training and sickness records.
• Carry out clinical work to a high standard alongside managerial duties to ensure service delivery.
