Job summary

NHS Western Isles invites applications for an MRI Service Administrator to join the new MRI Unit. The role supports the administration of the MRI service and collaborates with Healthcare Assistants and Radiographers, reporting to the Radiology Administration Team Lead and Lead MRI Radiographer. Occasional rotation through the main Radiology Department.

• Experience in administration in a busy office environment.
• Computer literacy and ability to use software systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative, clerical and secretarial support to the MRI service and Radiology Department.
• Oversee administration of the MRI unit in collaboration with Healthcare Assistants and Radiographers.
• Training for Radiology systems RIS and PACS will be provided.
• During the post there may be rotation through the main Radiology Department.
