An established healthcare provider in Gateshead is seeking dynamic Radiographers experienced in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) to join their innovative team. Due to the addition of a second MRI scanner at the QE site we are looking for motivated and dynamic Radiographers with experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), good communication skills and a highly developed sense of patient care to join our friendly and progressive team.
The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in MRI including a broad range of MRI techniques and equipment and experience of working in the NHS.
The post holders will need to have excellent organisational and communication skills to enable them to work effectively within the multi-disciplinary team and ensure Radiology continues to provide a high quality service to all its users.
A flexible and forward thinking approach is needed to ensure Radiology meets the challenges of the constantly developing healthcare environment, with a focus on 7 day working and working towards the Imaging Services Accreditation.
Successful applicants will be required to rotate through the main QE site and the Community Diagnostic Hub based at Metrocenter.

The post holder will assist in the provision of a high quality magnetic resonance imaging service by performing clinical imaging duties within the Radiology Department and supporting the Department in providing a timely radiographic service on a 24/7 basis.
The post holder will be flexible in their approach as the Radiology Department is constantly changing so that it can provide a service that meets Local and National Modernisation Agendas.
