MRI Lead Radiographer
Cherwell Hospital - Banbury
Full Time - 37.5 hours
The successful candidate will be a qualified Radiographer registered with the HCPC. You should have experience managing a team of Radiographers or be an existing Lead MRI Radiographer within the NHS or private healthcare in the UK. Demonstrating accountability, ownership of department development, and team management skills is essential. The role involves leading clinical aspects, training, competencies, QA, MRI safety investigations, and ensuring current practices and protocols are followed.

As the Lead, you will set high standards for patient experience, balancing clinical duties with operational responsibilities to ensure departmental excellence in conjunction with other diagnostic modalities.
Additional responsibilities include supporting the Imaging Services Manager through audits, financial reviews, budget setting, and staff resourcing. A flexible, enthusiastic approach and good priority management are vital. RPS training is desirable but not essential. Adherence to guidelines by the CQC, IR(ME)R, and other regulatory bodies is crucial for maintaining a safe patient environment.
Experience in a similar MRI environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
