Job summary

University of Manchester is seeking a motivated Research Data Manager to lead the collection, QA and management of imaging and clinical datasets for the GLIOGEN-X project. You will partner with neuroradiology and neuro-oncology teams to ensure secure data transfer and high data integrity.

The role requires HCPC registration, understanding of MRI workflows and DICOM/PACS expertise, with responsibilities spanning de-identification, storage, cross-site coordination and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• HCPC registration or equivalent professional registration.
• Understanding of neuroimaging methodologies and MRI workflows.
• Knowledge of DICOM and PACS systems.
• Managing, validating and maintaining clinical or research datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the collection, quality assurance and management of imaging and associated clinical datasets.
• Ensure de-identification, storage and transfer of project data.
• Liaise with clinical teams to ensure data flow and accuracy.
• Monitor data quality and resolve technical issues relating to imaging acquisition and data transfer.
• Build relationships with GLIOGEN-X consortium stakeholders and contribute to progress reports.

Education

Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
