Qualifications

• Ability to activate emergency response system when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage acute hypersensitivity and reactions per treatment algorithms.
• Administer reassurance, oxygen, antihistamines, IV fluids, bronchodilators, epinephrine when needed.
• Know when to call for assistance and activate emergency response.
• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and evaluate outcomes.
• Foster patient and family-centered care and educate patients and families.
