Job summary

At New Victoria Hospital, part of the Bupa group, we are seeking an MRI Radiographer to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging for inpatients and outpatients. You will collaborate with radiologists, imaging assistants and clinicians across the department to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety.

The role requires a BSc in Radiography, HCPC registration and active CPD, with MRI experience and cannulation certification.

Qualifications

• BSc in Radiography or equivalent (essential).
• Current HCPC Registration (essential).
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Cannulation certificate (essential).
• MRI (essential).
• Xray Gen (desirable).
• Philips MRI (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and professional standards.
• Deliver exceptional patient care while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the imaging journey.
• Work across a range of imaging modalities, including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Mobile Imaging, and Theatre Radiography.
• Provide flexible support to meet service needs.
• Participate in on-call rota
• Maintain compliance with HCPC standards, departmental policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to quality assurance activities and continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Promote a culture of safety through incident reporting, risk management, and adherence to infection prevention standards.
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the hospital to support an efficient imaging service.
• Maintain accurate records and actively contribute to your continuing professional development.
