MRI/CT Radiographer – Bank Shifts

Zusammenfassung

Circle Health Group is seeking a Radiographer to join Beardwood Hospital on a bank (as and when required) basis in Lancashire. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensure high-quality images and maintain patient safety within a multidisciplinary imaging team.

The role requires HCPC registration, a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, and at least 2 years MRI experience. Bank shifts cover busy periods and staff leave, with a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifikationen

• BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
• HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
• Minimum 2 years MRI experience.
• Experience in general radiographic techniques and equipment.
• Postgraduate training in CT/MRI/theatre imaging desirable.

Aufgaben

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures following referral and protocols.
• Ensure high-quality images to support accurate diagnosis and minimise repeats.
• Adapt techniques for paediatrics, bariatrics, and limited mobility patients.
• Provide safe, dignified, patient-centred service and keep patients informed.
• Monitor patients and respond to deterioration during procedures.
• Maintain and check equipment, report faults promptly.
• Assist with new imaging technologies and digital systems (PACS, RIS).
• Collaborate with radiologists, consultants, nurses, porters and admin staff.
