Job summary

Brevco Services in the United Kingdom is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to manage VMware, AD, DNS/DHCP, and server infrastructures in a fast-moving environment.

You will maintain Windows Server platforms, network devices, and backups with VEEAM, along with SharePoint/SQL patches and security hardening per NATO-like guidance. Desirable experience includes working in international/military-civilian settings and ITIL familiarity.

Qualifications

• Mandatory IT background with middle-level vocational training or equivalent in IT system administration plus 5 years of related experience.
• Extensive Windows Server Administration experience is required.
• Intermediate network maintenance and configuration experience is required.
• Advanced Workstation System Administration experience is required.
• Experience working on multiple IT systems in a fast-moving, dynamic environment and responding quickly to user needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple VMware vCenter and ESXi servers.
• Basic maintenance of switches and firewalls.
• Install and maintain multiple server and client software applications.
• Maintain Bespoke Server application TEPA and its database.
• Renewing certificates and managing PKI processes.
• Loading Keymat to TCE621M devices.
• Escorting and assisting 3rd level engineers.
• Assist with testing and verification of new systems.
• Assist with VEEAM Backup.
• Support to local ServiceDesk.
• Maintaining documentation on assigned systems.
• Support to VDI maintenance and thin clients.
• Print server support.
• Assist with EPO DLP, patching SharePoint and SQL Server.

Job description

Vocational training at middle level in a relevant discipline, or equivalent, or Diploma of secondary education in IT System Administration with 5 years of experience

Extensive Windows Server Administration experience

Intermediate Network maintenance and configuration experience

Advanced Workstation System Administration experience

Experience working on multiple IT systems simultaneously in a fast moving dynamic environment, while being able to react quickly to user needs

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

• Knowledge of NATO IT Security Policies, Directives & Guidance


• Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements


• Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization
