Nifco UK Limited is seeking a time-served Toolmaker to repair, maintain and develop production mould tools. The role requires extensive mould tool experience and traditional bench-fitting skills, with a 3-shift rotating pattern.

You will support safety and continuous improvement, perform preventative maintenance, maintain toolroom records, and carry out root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Previous experience in injection mould tooling is essential.

Formación

• Must be time served Toolmaker with formal recognition.
• City & Guilds Toolmaker and/or ONC Mechanical Engineering qualification.
• Able to work under own supervision.
• Strong background in injection mould tool manufacture and maintenance.
• Experience in cross-functional department working.

Responsabilidades

• Support Safety Checks and Improvement activities as required.
• Carry out preventative maintenance according to schedule and documented procedure.
• Carry out repairs with the objective of preventing re-occurrence and improving tool robustness.
• Maintain tool work records and complete necessary Toolroom documentation.
• Support the improvement and maintenance of 5S standards.
• Carry out root cause analysis when appropriate to ensure robustness of corrective actions and repairs.
• Must have extensive mould tool experience and traditional bench-fitting skills.
• Repair and maintenance of hot runner systems.
• The role involves working a shift system, you must be willing to work shifts.
• Any other duties as requested by the business.
