Role

Mould Toolmaker – Southend-on-Sea (Permanent | Full-Time | Rotating Shift Pattern: 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm, Mon–Fri)

Are you an experienced Mould Toolmaker looking to join a forward-thinking manufacturer where your skills will have a direct impact on production quality? This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of tooling projects as part of a multi-skilled, supportive team.

The Role

In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing mould tools to ensure smooth and efficient production. You’ll carry out both planned maintenance and reactive repairs, follow best-practice tooling techniques, and always work in line with strict health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-planned and reactive maintenance on mould tools, including those with hot runner systems.
• Maintain accurate inspection and maintenance logs.
• Support the procurement of spare parts and materials.
• Share knowledge and guidance with apprentices.
• Identify opportunities to improve tooling performance and reliability.
