Job Description:

Position: Senior Mechatronics Engineer

Location: Concord, NC (onsite)

Department: Aero Innovation, Motorsports Aerodynamic

Role Overview: Develop mechatronic systems for aerodynamics testing in motorsports and high-performance vehicles. Collaborate across disciplines, liaise with suppliers, and oversee prototype and production solutions.

Responsibilities include:

1. Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive testing.
2. Create system architectures and specifications.
3. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
4. Evaluate and select components and technologies.
5. Conduct testing, analysis, and debugging.
6. Manage delivery of prototypes and production solutions.
7. Prepare technical reports and presentations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary system design.
• Proficiency in CAD (Siemens NX, CATIA).
• Experience with embedded systems, sensors, actuators, control systems, and programming (C, C++, Python).
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, experience in automotive and motorsports testing, familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink, advanced CAD skills, and knowledge of control systems.
