Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your primary responsibility will be to develop mechatronics systems that enhance our aerodynamics development processes for motorsport and high-performance vehicles. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and optimize solutions to technical challenges, significantly contributing to our competitiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing.
  • Create detailed system architectures and specifications.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to develop innovative solutions.
  • Work with external suppliers to evaluate and select components.
  • Conduct system testing, analysis, and debugging.
  • Oversee prototype and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, firmware/software integration, and testing.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering with a proven track record.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software integration.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
  • Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
  • Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in relevant fields.
  • Experience with automotive, motorsports, or aerodynamics testing.
  • Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Expertise in CAD and mechanical design.
  • Knowledge of control systems and theory.
