Job summary
Prodrive in the United Kingdom seeks a Structural Analyst to provide engineering analysis for elite motorsport programmes. You will support optimisation and performance enhancement of vehicle systems, working with designers to develop load cases and deliver robust, manufacturable solutions.
The role requires a degree in mechanical or automotive engineering and hands-on experience in a high-performance design environment, with strong CAD skills and knowledge of materials and manufacturing
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience in high-performance motorsport design environment.
- Proven expertise in structural analysis.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis of assemblies with metallic, composite and fabricated components.
- Develop load cases and optimise geometry using calculation and FEA methods.
- Produce concept designs and detailed engineering solutions meeting weight and cost targets.
- Deliver CAD assemblies and detailed designs to timelines and budgets.
- Release parts and assemblies onto Bills of Materials and maintain BOM accuracy.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure manufacturability.
