Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a proactive Quality Engineer for a fixed-term role supporting a strategic Quality Management Office roadmap in the motorsport and automotive sector. You will contribute to product development, lifecycle activities and event-related issue control.

You will drive continuous improvement, assist audits and SOPs, analyse data, manage supplier quality and collaborate with Engineering teams across UK and international events.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality engineering and supplier quality engineering.
• Understanding of product lifecycle management from spec to end-of-life.
• Knowledge of engineering processes supporting product development.
• Structured problem-solving skills to deliver robust solutions.
• Experience with audits of QMS and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver continuous improvement through Quality Management Office roadmaps.
• Support development and maintenance of the Quality Management System, including audits and training.
• Provide quality engineering support across product development and lifecycle activities.
• Manage SOPs to promote operational and product robustness.
• Assist with containment and resolution deployment for event-driven issues.
• Process event-related inputs/outputs for product and issue control.
• Maintain engineering KPIs and support objective data analysis.
• Manage supplier QA activities and relationships; travel within UK and internationally.
