Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Sr. Motorsport Manager (Operations/Events) based in Banbury.

You will define the strategic direction, lead a multidisciplinary team, and own the performance of global motorsport and events programmes across race, rally, testing and customer projects. Office-based with overseas travel, you will oversee vehicle readiness, logistics and technical ops while driving commercial success in international markets.

Are you a senior leader, within the motorsport industry, with experience in both operations and event planning looking to shape the strategic direction of a globally recognised motorsport business?

Do you have a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams, driving performance and have a technical understanding of both race operations and client event management?

The company is a leading supplier of high-performance vehicles. They specialise in the conversion of the Porsche 911 for rally racing, and they also will create new performance vehicles created by their internal teams.

The successful candidate will be taking charge of the motorsport department, leading and developing new improvement within the company and providing strategic oversight over new vehicle readiness. This position will be office based with some overseas travel.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a specialist motorsport company’s Senior Management Team and take strategic ownership of the Motorsport & Events function.

The Role:

• Take charge to define and deliver the strategic direction of the Motorsport & Events function
• Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing multidisciplinary Motorsport & Events team
