Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking an Operations & Events Director (Motorsport) in Banbury. This senior role will define and deliver the strategic direction of the Motorsport & Events function, overseeing global programmes and ensuring peak performance across race, rally, testing and customer events.

The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage budgeting and financial forecasting, and provide strategic oversight of vehicle readiness, logistics and operations.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience within international motorsport or automotive engineering.
• Proven track record of delivering strategic, commercial and operational success.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and business planning.

Responsibilities

• Take charge to define and deliver the strategic direction of the Motorsport & Events function.
• Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing multidisciplinary Motorsport & Events team.
• Own the commercial and operational performance of the company's global motorsport and events programmes.
• Oversee race, rally, testing and customer programmes across international markets.
• Provide strategic oversight of vehicle readiness, technical operations, logistics and resource planning.
