Location: Redhill, Surrey
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
Working Hours: Mon to Fri 37 hours per week

Overview:
First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International education business who are looking to recruit a Motorsport Lecturer due to growth to be based out of their Redhill (Surrey) location.

In this exciting role, you will have the responsibility to prepare and teach on a range of Motor Vehicle Service, including PHEV, Electrical Vehicle, MOT Test, Air Conditioning and Repair courses to a range of students.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conducting practical assessments of Learners in accordance with the requirements of the awarding body.
2. Monitoring/tracking learners progress with regard to practical competencies.
3. Assessment of the underpinning knowledge requirements of the qualification, within the workplace.
4. Carrying out the administration for the above, maintaining accurate reports and documentation.
5. Attending meetings as required by the scheme IV, EV or curriculum manager.
6. Assess students at induction and identify any basic skills need.
7. Maintain the highest standard of confidentiality at all times and deal empathetically with all candidates and employers.
8. Internal verification of portfolios etc required.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Level 3 or above (or equivalent) in a discipline related to Motor Vehicle Service and Repair.
2. GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths.
3. Minimum of Level 3 Teaching qualification or commitment to work towards.
4. Minimum 3 years industry experience.
5. Up-to-date industry experience.
