Job summary

Porsche Cars GB Ltd is offering a Placement Year in its Motorsport Marketing Department. You will support admin, planning and communications, with a focus on driver registrations, event logistics and Esports programmes. The role begins August 2027 and requires you to balance office duties with occasional weekend travel.

The placement helps develop strong organisational and communication skills within a prestige automotive brand, with exposure to racing events, hospitality, and content management.

Qualifications

• Studying towards an Undergraduate degree.
• 3 A Levels or equivalent.
• Passionate and has a good understanding of Motorsport industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have held a driving licence for more than 2 years – clean licence.
• Prepared to work away during weekends (10+ per year) – days in lieu will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Administer driver registrations and communications for Porsche Carrera Cup GB and Porsche Sprint Challenge GB.
• Lead end-to-end Special Project including the launch and implementation of Porsche Motorsport Esports Programmes.
• Support day-to-day marketing activities and produce event materials like books and reports.
• Manage Porsche Motorsport Hub content, race results and ongoing website updates.
• Deliver elements of the Centre Motorsport Hospitality Programme and host paddock tours.
• Oversee fleet of road cars and clothing stock distribution; maintain stock records.
• Prepare working documents for events and coordinate with external suppliers.
• Input data into PCGB systems (invoices, purchase orders) and liaise with departments.

About the job

Job:

Responsible for the delivery of elements of Porsche Motorsport GB’s activity within the Porsche Cars GB Marketing Department. As well as being responsible for admin and planning during office time.

This is a Placement Year position for a candidate currently studying an Undergraduate degree at university, seeking a placement for their third year. The role will commence in August 2027. Please ensure that you have read and understood the requirements of the role before applying.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the administration of driver registrations and communications for Porsche Carrera Cup GB and Porsche Sprint Challenge GB
• Responsible for an end-to-end Special Project including the launch & implementation of the Porsche Motorsport Esports Programmes
• Supporting with day to day marketing activities of the championships and responsible for key projects including motorsport book, various presentations, event reports etc
• Responsible for Porsche Motorsport Hub, updating content, race results and ongoing website management
• To deliver elements of the Porsche Centre Motorsport Hospitality Programme, including but not limited to hosting various Paddock Tours at race weekends and collating ‘goody bags’.Support Motorsport Events team with ad hoc requirements relating to race weekends – logistics, schedules etc.
• Manage the Motorsport fleet of road cars
• Oversee the allocation, distribution, return and disposal of Motorsport team clothing
• Ensure the Motorsport stockroom is well organised and stock levels are recorded
• Assisting in production of working documents for each event, distribution throughout the team ensuring accuracy and understanding from each party.Liaison with external suppliers with joint event responsibility
• Input to PCGB systems, raising Invoices, Purchase Orders etc
• Liaison with PCGB departments

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Studying towards an Undergraduate degree
• 3 A Levels or equivalent
• Passionate and has a good understanding of the Motorsport industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have held a driving license for more than 2 years – driving license must be clean
• Prepared to work away during weekends (10+ per year) – you will receive days back in Lieu

• The individual should be enthusiastic, friendly, willing to learn and a good team player
• Strong customer service and administration skills
• Strong Interest in the automotive industry and Porsche as a brand

Porsche Cars GB Ltd and Porsche Retail Head Office is located conveniently by junction 12 of the M4, adjacent to a retail park, gym, and well-known fast-food restaurants.
