Motorcycle Technician required in Chesterfield

Our client, a highly regarded, franchise-approved motorcycle retailer, is seeking a Motorcycle Technician to join their busy Chesterfield branch.

Salary and Benefits

• Starting salary experience-dependent:
  • Master Technician - £29,700
  • Technician with 4+ years experience - £27,450
  • Technician with at least 2 years experience - £24,750
  • Service Technician - £23,900
• Access to a revenue-based bonus structure (£2,500), accommodating the seasonality of the motorcycle trade
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8am - 4:30pm)

Responsibilities

• Repair and service customer motorcycles to manufacturer standards
• Perform diagnostic checks
• Inspect for wear, tears, and general faults
• Provide excellent customer service
• Collaborate effectively with the Workshop Manager and team

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 (desirable but not essential)
• Current experience as a Motorcycle Technician, preferably in a main dealer or independent garage
• Own set of tools
• MOT license (desirable)
• Full motorcycle driving license
