Job description

Motorcycle Technician required in Chesterfield

Our client, a highly regarded, franchise-approved motorcycle retailer, is seeking a Motorcycle Technician to join their team in Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity with long-term career prospects within one of the largest motorcycle dealer groups in the UK, operating for over 40 years!

Salary and Hours

• Starting salary experience dependent:
• Master Technician - £29,700
• Technician with 4+ years experience - £27,450
• Technician with at least 2 years in the trade - £24,750
• Service Technician - £23,900

Access to a revenue-based bonus structure (£2,500), which accommodates the seasonality of the motorcycle trade.

• Hours: 40 hours, Monday - Friday (8am - 4:30pm)
• No weekends!

Responsibilities

• Repair and service customer motorcycles to manufacturer standards
• Complete diagnostic checks
• Inspect for wear, tears, and general faults
• Provide excellent customer service
• Collaborate effectively with the Workshop Manager and team

Candidate Requirements

• A relevant formal qualification (e.g., City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2) is desirable but not essential
• Current experience as a Motorcycle Technician, preferably in a Main Dealer or Independent Garage
• Own set of tools
• MOT license (desirable)
• Full motorcycle driving license
