Qualifications

About The Role…

We are excited to be recruiting for a Motor Vehicle Technician. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups.

As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the service, repair, and maintenance of our customers' vehicles, preparing them for the road ahead. Representing various manufacturers, you will work on a diverse range of vehicles and models, taking pride in your work and ensuring high standards.

Stoneacre Motor Group is leading in EV training, and we are eager to share our expertise with you. You will work in a state-of-the-art workshop, supported by comprehensive in-house and manufacturer training, to develop your skills and advance your career in EV Technology, contributing to making Stoneacre the Number One Motor Group.

An average day as a Motor Vehicle Technician…
  • Utilise your knowledge of manufacturer vehicles to service, repair, and diagnose customer vehicles to a high standard within our workshop.
  • Work as part of a motivated team, completing all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
  • Provide diagnostic reports on customer vehicles accurately and skillfully.
  • Complete relevant service documentation, including job sheets, PDIs, and service reports, in line with manufacturer, warranty, and dealer requirements.
  • Check the quality and level of work through diagnostic equipment and road testing upon job completion.
About You…
  • Candidates from all backgrounds with experience in automotive technical roles are welcome.
  • Minimum qualification: Level 2 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a challenging environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure; your technical skills will help you overcome challenges.
  • Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualifications are advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
  • MOT license is beneficial but not essential.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
  • Passionate about your work and eager to learn and grow.
