Job summary

HF in the UK is seeking an experienced Solicitor/Team Leader for the Motor team across Manchester, Leeds, Southampton, Liverpool or Birmingham. Hybrid, permanent role leading a mixed-experience legal team to deliver high-quality advocacy and client service.

You will mentor and coach colleagues, manage performance, and contribute to growth through new tenders and client relationships, reporting to the Operational Lead and Head of Motor.

Qualifications

• Strong litigation background and leadership experience within a legal services environment.
• Ability to mentor, coach, and manage a litigated caseload while guiding team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and motivate the team to deliver effective service to clients and meet KPIs, SLAs and financial targets.
• Coach the team, monitor performance, identify training needs and conduct case/performance reviews.
• Handle MI reporting, file reviews, and support with auditors; supervise a litigated claims team.
