Job summary

Clark James Recruitment is seeking a Motor Fleet Insurance Account Manager in Kent with hybrid working and a salary up to £50k. You will head up a niche department, drawing on extensive Motor Fleet experience to secure optimal terms for clients and manage renewals.

The role offers excellent training, a share scheme, and bonuses on retention, with high staff morale and strong retention across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Technical and commercial insurance knowledge including Motor Fleet policies.
• Confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
• Ideally knowledge and understanding of Acturis management operating system.
• Some CII qualifications would be preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Obtain best terms for clients and work with insurers to place renewals and ad-hoc re-broking cases.
• Administration; create quotation documents, set up client records, issue documents and keep diary notes.
• Ensure sales process is completed and compliant with regulatory framework.
• Assist other team members with technical queries.
• Placement of some new business (cross sales).
• Discuss lapse lists with renewals lapse review team and implement changes.
• Maintain great relationships with underwriters through strong communication.

Role And Responsibilities

• Obtaining the best possible terms for clients and working with insurers to place renewals, Ad-hoc re-broking cases in relation to unique requirements
• Administration; creating quotation documents, setting up client records, issuing documents to clients, checking proposal forms, diary management, accurate telephone notes and so forth.
• Ensure that the sales process is completed and compliant with regulatory framework
• Assisting other members of the team with technical queries
• Placement of some new business (Cross sales)
• Discuss lapse lists with a member of renewals lapse review team each month and implement changes if necessary.
• Great Communication Skills to develop relationships with underwriters
