Allianz UK in Birmingham is seeking a Motor Fleet Existing Business Underwriter to join our established Motor Fleet team. You will focus on retaining and developing our Motor Fleet portfolio, working with brokers and internal stakeholders to deliver profitable renewals and excellent service.

This hybrid role requires 2-3 days in the Birmingham office and offers flexible working options within Allianz's global benefits package, with career development opportunities and a focus on risk-aware

Qualifications

• Experience underwriting Motor Fleet risks.
• Ability to evaluate risk and apply underwriting judgement.
• Proven capability to build effective broker relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail with good analytical skills.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for learning and personal development.

Responsibilities

• Manage and retain existing Motor Fleet portfolio, delivering timely, accurate and profitable renewal terms.
• Build and maintain strong broker relationships through effective negotiation and excellent customer service.
• Handle mid-term adjustments, policy amendments and renewal activity in line with underwriting authority.
• Ensure underwriting decisions align with risk appetite, pricing strategy and portfolio objectives.
• Check, issue and manage policy documentation accurately and within agreed service levels.
• Develop your technical underwriting capability through learning, feedback and exposure to experienced Underwriters.
