Motor Control Software Engineer (Senior / Principal)

Salary: £65-75k + bonus + benefits (negotiable)
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced software engineer to develop software and technically lead talented teams of software engineers to deliver complex projects across various mobility sectors. Based in Leamington Spa.
Required:
In this role, you will take customer projects from concept to prototype, developing systems from scratch, integrating hardware, and conducting lab testing to produce validated prototypes for customer delivery.
Requires experience in embedded C software development OR model-based development using Matlab / Simulink.
Candidates should have a systems approach and ideally have worked within e-mobility domains such as automotive, aerospace, marine, etc.
Skills / Experience:
This principal engineer role involves taking proof of concepts through to prototypes and production-ready designs. Domain knowledge of motor control software for vehicle propulsion (land, sea, air) is essential.
Role is onsite 3 days/week, located near Birmingham, with accessible locations including Redditch, Solihull, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Leamington Spa, Banbury, Daventry, Rugby, Coventry, and Lutterworth.
