Job summary

Red Dot Search is recruiting a Motor Claims Handler in Bolton to manage third party vehicle and property damage claims from initial notification through to resolution.

You will investigate liability, gather evidence, challenge credit hire rates when needed, and liaise with policyholders, solicitors, insurers and accident management companies. The position is 35 hours per week, on-site with hybrid options after probation.

Qualifications

• Some claims experience in motor or related fields.
• Confident on the phone and in writing.
• Willing to work towards the CII Certificate (fully funded).

Responsibilities

• Handle third party vehicle and property damage claims from notification to resolution.
• Investigate liability by gathering evidence and determining fault.
• Validate credit hire claims, check hire period and rates.
• Speak with policyholders, solicitors, insurers and accident management companies.
• Escalate anything suspicious and keep caseload moving to service standards.
