Claims Handler (CH3) - Liverpool

Are you ready to advance your legal career? We are seeking a Claims Handler (CH3) to join our Liverpool team. The role involves managing a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims, including PI, from inception to settlement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims, including PI, efficiently from inception to settlement.
  2. Deliver high levels of service and maintain productivity.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent service quality.
  4. Accurately input and maintain data.
  5. Engage and communicate effectively with clients.
  6. Mentor, train, and serve as a technical referral point for team members.
  7. Conduct file audits as required.
Working Hours and Location

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. The primary location is the Liverpool Office, adopting a hybrid model of 1 day in-office and 4 days remote.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
  • Desirable: Experience with motor PI claims under the predictive costs regime.
  • Experience with the MOJ portal, stages 1 and 2.
  • Pre-litigation experience.
  • Experience handling claims outside the MOJ and predictive cost regime.
  • Mentoring experience is desirable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to mentor and support new starters.
