Job summary

Central Surgery is a large, multi-site GP practice in Barton-upon-Humber with a branch in Goxhill. We are seeking a motivated GP to join our friendly, progressive team, delivering high-quality patient care and taking on educational duties within a multidisciplinary setting.

We welcome applicants from both experienced GPs and newly qualified doctors. The post supports training for GP registrars and medical students, in partnership with Hull and York Medical School, and collaborates with First

Qualifications

• Qualified GP with GMC registration.
• MRCGP or equivalent.
• CCT or JCPTGP/VTC equivalent.
• UK post-qualification training recognised.

Responsibilities

• Make professional, autonomous decisions for presenting problems.
• Assess health care needs of undifferentiated patients.
• Screen disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
• Admit or discharge patients to/from caseload and refer when needed.
• Compile and issue computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions.
• Perform general GP duties in primary care, including clinics and home visits.
