Job summary

Qualifications

• GMC Registration with Licence to Practise is required.
• Inclusion on the NHS Performers List is required.
• MRCGP is required.
• CCT or equivalent and eligibility to practise independently in the UK is required.
• Appropriate medical defence indemnity is required.

Responsibilities

• Routine and urgent GP consultations.
• Long-term condition management.
• Home visits on a shared basis.
• Participation in the duty doctor rota.
• Managing clinical correspondence, referrals and prescriptions.
• Supporting quality improvement and clinical governance.
• Working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
• Teaching opportunities for those with an interest in education.
• Encouragement to pursue specialist interests, quality improvement projects or leadership.
