Job summary

DEPT is a Growth Invention company delivering services across Brand & Media, Experience, Commerce, CRM, and Technology & Data. We seek a Motion Designer to lead project work, own the end-to-end motion process, and mentor junior designers while balancing multiple brand accounts in a fast-paced, hybrid UK environment.

You will refine concepts, craft motion systems, and collaborate with designers to ensure brand alignment, quality, and timely delivery across diverse formats.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a Motion Designer or in a similar role.
• Outstanding showreel and/or portfolio.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams with designers and strategists.
• Interest in learning new formats and AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead motion design on projects across brands.
• Own the motion design process from concepting to delivery.
• Support graphic design needs with motion craft.
• Collaborate with designers, art directors, and creatives.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers.
• Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Explore new tools and formats across motion and visual design.
• Present creative rationale to teams and clients.
