Job summary

We seek a Motion Designer to lead project work, own the end-to-end motion process, and mentor junior designers while balancing multiple brand accounts in a fast-paced, hybrid UK environment.

You will refine concepts, craft motion systems, and collaborate with designers to ensure brand alignment, quality, and timely delivery across diverse formats.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a Motion Designer or in a similar role.
• Outstanding showreel and/or portfolio.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams with designers and strategists.
• Interest in learning new formats and AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead motion design on projects across a range of brands, translating creative concepts into animated and video content;
• Own the motion design process from concepting and storyboarding through animatics, execution, and final delivery;
• Work across motion and static design, supporting graphic design needs alongside motion craft;
• Collaborate with designers, art directors, and creatives to develop motion systems, style frames, and treatments aligned with brand guidelines;
• Provide creative and technical guidance, feedback, and mentorship to junior and mid-level motion designers;
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing quality with tight deadlines across different brand accounts;
• Explore new tools, techniques, and formats across motion and visual design, including AI-assisted workflows;
• Present and explain creative rationale to internal teams and clients when needed.

• Interest in learning new things and exploring new formats;
• Nice to have: Experience with grading in DaVinci, Cinema 4D or Blender 3D experience, illustration.
