Applications are invited from suitably qualified, dynamic individuals for the post of Motion Analysis Laboratory (MAL) Coordinator at the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital. The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the MAL as a clinical and research resource. This includes conducting patient assessments for diagnostic care and research, collecting, processing, analysing, and reporting biomechanical data, and maintaining the MAL in operational condition.
The post holder will work closely with the Orthopaedic Research Support Group to coordinate research study participants. They will contribute to research output through manuscript writing, grant proposals, and developing partnerships with universities and industry.
The unit has academic links with the University of Strathclyde and the University of Glasgow, offering opportunities for higher degrees.
The role requires collaboration with clinical and research staff, liaising with academic and industry partners. Responsibilities also include public engagement and providing training and supervision to students and staff.
